We have less than a week to go before the premiere of True Blood’s seventh and final season on HBO on June 22 at 9 p.m. ET, so in honor of the last ever season of the supernatural drama, HBO is teaming up with Facebook for a socially integrated series marathon — The True to the End Marathon — beginning today, June 16.

What makes a marathon socially integrated, you ask?

Per The Hollywood Reporter, HBO and Facebook have teamed up to bring Truebies a series marathon they will never forget. The social media site combed through six years of data to find out what moments were most interesting to fans, and now they’re using that data in the marathon, kicking off tonight on HBO2 with Season 1 of the show.

Starting tonight, HBO2 will air one season at a time in an event hosted by Michael McMillian (Rev. Steve Newlin). Each night Michael will appear in a themed segment that highlights certain data pulled from Facebook, be it fans’ favorite suitor for Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) or the most popular TB villain.

It’s certainly to your standard marathon (after which you often feel like a zombie) and HBO seems really psyched about it. “The True to the End Marathon offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the contributions of a passionate fan base leading into the final season premiere," HBO’s vp digital and social media Sabrina Caluori said. "The partnership with Facebook provides us with the perfect data set to identify the themes and story points that matter most to Truebies.”

Over the course of the first six seasons, True Blood has managed to acquire some 11 million Facebook fans who have generated upwards of 844,000 comments on the show’s official Facebook page, so we’d say this is shaping up to be a very lively discussion.

But if this marathon doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, then THR implores you to reconsider. “Facebook fans who want to participate in the conversation during the marathon can use the hashtag #TrueToTheEnd. They also will be offered a look at an exclusive trailer on Friday, June 20, prior to the season premiere.”
