February: Worst month ever. The holidays are over, spring is still months away, all the trees are dead and the snow in your backyard has turned a suspicious shade of brown.

If you’ve crossed over to the dark side (read: writing “I Heart Eric” on your pizza in pepperoni), then it’s time for an intervention.

Check out five ways to survive this bleak winter in true Truebie style!

1. Check Out Some Magical Truebie Fan Art

Have you ever wondered what Eric would look like dressed up in a Nordic sweater and cradling a cat in a Santa Claus hat? You’re dreams are about to become a reality.

There’s an entire undiscovered world of True Blood fan art out there (some of which might cause temporary blindness) and we’ve rounded up the best of the best for you to R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Some highlights? Lafayette on Santa’s lap, and a colored pencil drawing of shirtless Alcide. See you in a few days!

2. Make a Fan Video

All you need are a few clips of Eric and Sookie soiling Gram’s antique furniture, an epic love ballad (we suggest “Total Eclipse of The Heart”), remedial iMovie skills and BOOM. You’ve just made yourself a fan video.

Even better? You can share said vid on YouTube and bask in the good vibrations of other enthusiastic True Blood fans “liking you.”

And don’t worry if you aren’t up to the challenge of making a vid — you can always check out our roundup of the best fan videos on the internet. But don’t say we didn’t warn you if you start sobbing into your Lafayette-inspired do-rag.

3. Explore the Wonderful World of True Blood GIFs

The only thing better than watching shirtless Eric emerge from a pond of “Krokideles” is watching shirtless Eric emerge from a pond of “Krokideles” over, and over, and over again.

Re-live all your favorite True Blood moments on repeat with the simple power of Tumblr, where fans compile their favorite gifs on one nerd-tastic website. Fans of Team Eric can head right over to “F*ck You Bill Compton.”

4. Buy the True Blood Soundtrack

You’re in the mood to listen to Massive Attack, Neko Case and PJ Harvey. But where to find all three of these bands on one CD? The True Blood soundtrack, that’s where!

If you didn’t get one of these bad boys in your stocking for Christmas, run, don’t walk to your nearest music store and buy it.

Note to everyone: This CD makes a great gift for those sad souls with birthdays in February.

5. Rewatch the Series

You’ve been flirting with this idea for a few weeks now, but have repeatedly told yourself that watching True Blood for the fifth time in one year would officially make you a stan. Um, next!

We suggest you pop in the first disc of season 1, dance as if no one’s watching, sing as if no one’s listening, and watch the graveyard sex scene on repeat as if no one’s judging you.

You can buy True Blood on iTunes or Amazon, or watch on HBO GO if you’re a subscriber.
