The men of True Blood are forever dropping trou or discarding their shirts, but star Alexander Skarsgard has never had a problem with it.
He's often spoken about being comfortable doing nude scenes, and he reiterated that to The Telegraph in a recent interview.
"I’m from Sweden. We don’t wear clothes in Sweden," he said.
Alex is currently making the rounds to promote his new movie, Battleship, which hits theaters April 11. He did his research for the part by meeting real-life destroyer captains.
"We’re fighting aliens, so it was important to make the real parts as real as possible," he explained.
And though Alex can boast of legions of female fans ("I’ve probably signed a breast or two," he admitted), he refuses to let fame go to his head.
"I’m glad this didn’t happen when I was 17,” he said. “It would be too easy to believe the hype. If you’re too young, you think this defines me. This is who I really am."
And we really like that person!
