Anna Paquin Then and Now: Look How Far She's Come Since 2000! (PHOTOS)

True Blood’s Anna Paquin is a red carpet veteran. Since her child star days, she has flaunted her free-spirited style with both outrageous, edgy frocks and glamorous dresses.

We looked back into a vault of old photos, finding two similar looks from her arsenal of fantastic pieces.

The first is from way back in September 2000. At the premiere of Almost Famous in New York City, Anna wore a sunset-colored red and orange dress and gold, strappy sandals, with her pale skin contrasting with her then-dark brunette hair.

More recently, in February 2011 at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Anna wore a gorgeous dress with a similar neckline, but in a vibrant bright red instead. Her choice of shoes and hairstyle are the polar opposites of her 2000 look — black pumps and a blonde updo — but her flawless complexion and simple makeup remain the same.
