Chris Meloni Joining Season 5 of True Blood

Loyal Law and Order: SVU fans can rejoice because Chris Meloni is coming back to TV — as a member of a Special Vampire Unit. The actor has been talks for weeks about joining the cast of True Blood, and TVLine is reporting it’s now official. Meloni will play a very old, very powerful vampire who will control Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric’s (Alexander Skarsgard) fate.

Does this mean we’ll be getting that sexy game of Twister we’ve been hoping for?
