What’s better than one Janina Gavankar? How about two! Janina and her evil twin duke it out in the new music video for her latest single, “Waiting For Godot.”

“Nobody is just one thing. I wanted to play with the duality within myself and watch the two sides deal with the same problem,” the True Blood star tells Billboard.

The song is featured of her upcoming EP — produced by Randy Jackson’s record label — which will also include a Frank Ocean cover.

Billboard describes the track as “part choral, part dubstep, part Björk,” and Janina worked with her friend Caitlin Pashalek — a director who also piloted the video for Janina’s cover of “Love Lockdown” — to create a fittingly freaky video. (Check it out below.)

“One stake we set in the ground from the get-go with this was this it wasn't going to be a ‘regular music video.’ I don't give a s—t about following any sort of norms,” she says. “I really set out to make something beautiful that had a strong narrative.”

Uh, yeah, mission accomplished.

Janina tells Billboard that some of her co-stars are familiar with her music. “I don't walk around with a big billboard on my head saying, 'Look at me, it's The Janina Show! By the way, also I can tap dance!'” she says.

“I know for a fact that when I was up for True Blood, they saw ‘Love Lockdown.’ I know these things help me explain myself [...] without having to shout it and say ‘I promise! I'm really artistic! Just trust me!’”

We doubt that anyone on the True Blood set is unaware of her musical alter-ego now!
