How Much Do Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and the Rest of the True Blood Cast Make?
Sometimes we get so caught up in the Bon Temps world that we forget True Blood is just a television show. The actors have tapped into their characters so well over the past five seasons that it doesn’t seem like supernatural fiction.
But phenomenal portrayals like Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and Alexander Skarsgard’s come with a price, and that number is $200,000 — per episode!
According to the “Who Earns What?” annual salary survey in TV Guide’s Aug. 13, 2012 issue, Anna, husband Stephen, and co-star A. Skars all make $200K per episode, making them some of the highest-paid stars surveyed from the cable network.
Although Jeff Daniels’s HBO show, The Newsroom, is in its first season, the mag reports that he earns $150K per episode because of his illustrious career. Comparatively, Newsroom co-stars Emily Mortimer and Sam Waterston make $50K and $65K, respectively.
The survey didn’t list specifics for any of the other True Blood cast members, but chances are, none of them stack up to the show’s starring trio.
