Kristin Bauer van Straten Wears a Head-to-Toe Black Ensemble: Hot or Not? (PHOTO)

True Blood’s Kristin Bauer van Straten returned to the United States from Africa less than a week ago, but she didn’t let jet lag stop her from rocking the red carpet.

However, on Sept. 21, our favorite sassy vampire was looking different than usual. At The Art of Elysium’s 4th Annual Genesis Party, Kristin swapped her usual colorful dresses for a head-to-toe black ensemble.

Her three-quarter-length sleeved shirt had an interesting woven pattern down the middle with a fringed effect on the sleeves. She also wore cropped, slim-fit black pants and sandals, completing her look with black toenail polish!

While her simple hair and makeup matched her basic look, we were expecting a bit more from Kristin. But considering she just finished filming her anti-poaching documentary, Out for Africa, she looked gorgeous and well-rested at the event, and we can’t wait to see what she wears out and about during True Blood’s hiatus!
