There’s new prince in Sookie Stackhouse’s faerie tale.

TVLine reports that English actor Rob Kazinsky has been tapped to play Ben, “a highly charismatic faerie who takes a liking to Sookie (and vice-versa) and helps Sookie and Jason delve deeper into the mystery of their parents’ murders.”

Ben could be the “ultra charming, ultra handsome” character the producers were casting in October.

This is the second piece of major casting news within the past month, after Rutger Hauer was cast as Macklyn.

Rob, 28, who is best known for his role in the British soap opera EastEnders, has only appeared in the U.S. in small roles on Brothers and Sisters and Law & Order: LA, as well as this year’s movie Red Tails.

His star is likely to rise, though, between his True Blood role and his gig in 2013’s Guillermo del Toro sci-fi tentpole Pacific Rim.

What do you think, Truebies? Is he a hot commodity, or is Sookie better off with other supes like Bill, Eric, and Alcide? Sound off below.
