NOH8 is a silent photographic campaign that protests the passage of California's Proposition 8 law, which bans same-sex marriage. Celebs pose with duct tape over their mouth, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world.

Carrie, who recently got a movie accepted into the Sundance Film Festival, joins a huge number of stars who are "speaking" out for the cause. She tweeted, "Honored to be a part of it!"
