Rutina Wesley Set to Slay Pumpkins on Halloween Wars

New vampire Tara Thornton had a lot of fun on True Blood Season 5, but her portrayer, Rutina Wesley, might just one-up her this fall.

According to a Food Network press release, on the Oct. 14 episode of Halloween Wars — a pumpkin carving, cake-and-candy making, and decorating competition show — Rutina will sit in as a special guest judge.

However, as fun as this sounds, we doubt Tara would be too pleased with the episode’s title and theme: “Battle of the Vampire Killer,” in which four teams showcase an “epic battle in which a vampire slayer kills his prey” on their cakes!

It all sounds dangerously delicious and has us running to the store to buy our own Halloween supplies, but will you tune in? Tell us below!
