Last night’s premiere episode of True Blood had our jaws dropping all over the place in excitement. We’re still recovering from baby Mikey’s play time with Barbie. Those dolls are going to need some serious therapy.
Wetpaint's rounded up the 5 biggest OMG moments for you to look back on — just try not to get so excited that you spit out your O neg.
1. Sookie’s back to the future!
Sookie has a total mind f*ck when she arrives in Bon Temps only to realize that she’s been in fairy land for an entire year! We can’t wait to find out what happened while she was away, but we know it was enough time for Tara to get some seriously gorgeous hair extensions and for Bill to have an A+ makeover. We’re loving the tight-fitting sweaters, Willy!
2. Witches can bring dead parrots back to life!
We have to admit that we had our doubts about Marnie’s witchy capabilities — that is before she started chanting in some foreign tongue and brought her dead parrot back to life. Yeah, it up and died again about ten seconds later, but still: If Marnie can resurrect a parrot, it’s only a matter of time before Rene, Russell, Godric and Lorena are trolling around Bon Temps again!
3. Bill is king!
We know a lot can change in a year, but how the hell did Bill become King? He and Queen Sophie had a fight-to-the-death battle, but if becoming royalty is as easy as committing a casual murder or two, Eric would just pop a wooden bullet in Bill’s heart and ascend the throne. There’s definitely something fishy going on here, but for now we’ll just LOL at Bill’s hilarious office. So much leather.
4. Tara is gay!
So, after Tara booked it out of Bon Temps and joined an all girl cage-fighting troupe, she fell in love with a sexy lesbian and got herself some good old fashioned girl on girl action. Eh, BFD right guys? One of the best things about True Blood is the fact that sexual preferences are no big deal. Bon Temps might be a backwards podunk town when it comes to vampire rights, but they’re totally ahead of the gay pride curve!
5. Sam joins a herd of wild, wild horses!
We could barely contain ourselves when Sam and his furry shifter friends morphed into a herd horses and galloped into the woods in slow motion. It was the most intense moment in True Blood shifter-history. And only one word can describe the music: epic. Bravo, Nathan Barr. Now where is Brad Pitt circa Legends of The Fall when you need him?
