True Blood Casting News: Robert Patrick Is Alcide's Dad

Who better to play a werewolf's father than a Terminator, right?

TV Guide reports that Robert Patrick (Terminator 2, The X-Files, and many, many more credits) is joining the cast as Jackson Herveaux, Alcide's father. 

Jackson will be first seen in episode 9 on Aug. 5 in a flashback to Alcide and Debbie's teenage years, when Alcide still respected him. In the present day, Papa Herveaux has "given up on life." 

Perhaps we may also find out why Jackson owed Eric Northman a debt, which is what brought Alcide into Sookie Stackhouse's life!
