True Blood Named to NPR's Top 10 TV Shows of 2011 List

TV critics are issuing their lists of best TV shows left and right as the year comes to an end, and True Blood has landed on one of them! 

NPR critic David Bianculli of Fresh Air named True Blood as his No. 10 show of the year.

"It's a soap opera, impure and complicated," he says. Bianculli particularly enjoys the many plot twists and new characters that came along this season.

And "for a safe, long-term investment in pop culture's fascination with the paranormal, I say take your money and let it ride on vampires," he explains.
