True Blood Season 5 Casting News: Spartacus Star Peter Mensah Joins the Authority

Looks like we’ll finally lean more about the elusive Authority during season 5 of True Blood — starting with one of its MVPs!

Peter Mensah has been cast as Kibwe, The Authority’s chancellor and an all around handsome hunk. We don’t know much about Kibwe, but apparently he’s a vampire from Africa who promotes mainstreaming under “Roman’s” tenure.

You might remember Peter from Antoine Fuqua’s Tears Of The Sun and James Cameron’s Avatar, but he’s no stranger to the small screen. Peter has appeared in numerous television shows, including Spartacus, Star Trek: Enterprise and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. 

 Can’t wait for this handsome fella to go fang-to-fang with Eric and Bill!
