True Blood Season 5 Spoilers: Do Bill and Eric Save Tara's Life?

Ever since  Sookie screamed bloody murder while holding  Tara's dead body in the True Blood season 4 finale, we've been wondering if one of her ex-boyfriends, Bill or Eric, would speed over to the rescue.

Don't count on it, says Rutina Wesley.

"They just killed a member of the Authority, so they're going to have a big mess to clean up themselves, so Sookie's going to have to figure this out on her own," Rutina tells TV Guide of her role in season 5.

"But, you know, she's strong and resourceful and doesn't need a man to figure out her problems."

So, if Tara isn't saved by vampire blood, what then? Does she become a ghost? Is she turned into a vamp herself? Does Sookie's magical fairy powers come into play?

Creator Alan Ball's lips are sealed. All he would tell TV Guide is, "Tara is still a part of the show. I'm sure fans have a lot of different ideas of how that could be possible, and one of those ideas is correct."

We knew it: Tara's a zombie!
