True Blood Season 6 Casting: A New Family Comes to Bon Temps

Even though we still have more than six months until True Blood Season 6 premieres, the show is already jam-packed with new characters.

The latest casting is a family affair, with the governor of Texas and his daughter moving into Bon Temps.

According to E! Online, the governor is a “Rick Perry-type who is a warmonger,” and his daughter is “pretty and originally comes off as fearful, but will prove to be quite tough.”

Both newcomers will recur throughout the season, joining two series regulars: a mysterious potential love interest for Sookie named Ben, and an unknown older male character, played by Blade Runner’s Rutger Hauer.
