As if waiting didn’t suck enough already, show creator Alan Ball dropped another bomb about True Blood Season 6: It will be two episodes short!
The departing showrunner told TV Guide that they’re not only “moving production to January to accommodate [Anna’s pregnancy],” but there will also “only be 10 shows next season, partly because of Anna and partly because of the economics.”
Oh no! This means the True Blood writers will have to jam pack all of the Warlow mysteries, Billith rages, and Sookie sex scenes into two episodes less than usual! And that’s not even the tip of the iceberg.
“There will also be some other characters maybe who we know and love who are pursuing a less than generous agenda,” Alan spilled, also noting that Jason “might be” a danger to all of Bon Temps’ vampires!
But with bad also comes some good news for Sookie and Alcide fans.
“Even though it looks like Alcide and Sookie may have cooled things off, I'm not so sure that he's totally dropped the torch that he carries for her,” Alan teased.
