True Blood Speculation: Will Eric Forget His Affair With Sookie in Season 5?

Sookie and Eric’s week of full-moon fangbanging was an affair to remember, but if Season 5 of True Blood follows the fifth book in The Sookie Stackhouse Mysteries, Eric will suffer memory loss. Again!

In Dead as a Doornail, Tara lands herself in some trouble (yawn, what else is new?) and Sookie runs over to Fangtasia to get Eric’s help bailing her out.

Apparently, Eric doesn’t remember anything about their passionate love-making, so Sookie has to tell him what happened in an erotic play-by-play. Commence sexy flashbacks!

Here’s the problem: Last time we saw Tara on True Blood, half her head was smeared on Sookie’s kitchen wall, so if Alan Ball is going to follow the books he has some serious explaining to do.
