There are Truebies and then there are Ultimate Truebies: The kind of fans who spend hours talking about the latest episode of True Blood with their friends (read: their chat room) and keep a set of fake fangs on their bedside table.
Lucky for you, we fall into the second category, and we’ve rounded up 5 questions about the ins and outs of Bon Temps supernatural world that will keep you tossing and turning all night! Let's nerd out together!
1. Why was Sookie’s reaction to Eric and Bill’s blood so different?
When Sookie drank Eric’s blood she went on a full-blown V bender, which transported her to fur-filled fantasy land. It was a total mind-fangbang!
But when Sookie drank from Bill to heal herself in Season 1, she merely had a heightened sense of smell. Of course, we can’t forget that she publicly masturbated on Bill’s porch, but she wasn’t nearly as aroused as when she drank from Eric.
Is Eric’s blood just more potent than his king’s, or did Sookie use so much of Bill’s blood during the healing process that there wasn’t enough left to get blazed on?
2. How long does V stay in your system?
Sookie started V-tripping at dusk and apparently her high lasted up until she and Eric went to the graveyard with Bill at midnight — so, a good six hours.
Had Sookie come down from the V when she was shot in the stomach, or was Eric’s blood still coursing through her fairy veins? If so, why didn’t her bullet wound heal itself?
3. What are the benefits of being half-werewolf, half-shifter?
Luna’s daughter, Emma, has a shifter mother and a father werewolf father, which makes her ... a were-shifter?
We’re a little confused about how being a shifter is any different than being a werewolf who has greater shifting abilities.
Unless werewolves are more powerful than regular wolves, in which case being a were-shifter means Emma can shift into any animal, including a crazy-awesome wolf. Lost? So are we.
4. How many spirits can inhabit a person?
So, right now Lafayette has two ghosts living up inside him: Tio Luca, Jesus’ brujo uncle, and Mavis, the bat-crazy baby stalker.
Are they just in there chillin’ with each other, like “Oh hey, ya’ll!” or are they battling it out for control of Lala’s body?
5. Can vampires glamour through the TV?
We know that Bill has special abilities when it comes to glamouring (he was a procurer after all), but do his skills extend through cyber space?
The way Bill looked into the camera during his PSA made it seem like he was trying to glamour the tv-watching public. Either that or he was eye-sexing all of us.
