Alexander Skarsgard Has a Laugh at True Blood's Season 5 Premiere Party

While most people know Alexander Skarsgard as sexy vampire Eric Northman on True Blood, the Swedish actor kick-started his American film career in 2001’s Zoolander.

Although his wacky character, Meekus, died in freak accident after a gasoline fight, A. Skars is eager to jump back into the male model’s shoes in the sequel.

“I'm pitching it right now. I wouldn't want to miss that,” Alex told British GQ. “Well, I'm hoping they would do something like the scene with Hamlet's father, and that Meekus will come back as a ghost — I mean, he's definitely dead.”

It’s been more than a decade since Zoolander, and Alex’s looks have drastically changed, but he still uses his experience with the film to this day.

When asked if playing Meekus helped prepare him for his Calvin Klein shoot, Alex responded with a laugh.

“There's some Blue Steel in that poster, wouldn't you say?”
