When it comes to sexy supernatural couples, there are two that immediately come to mind: True Blood's Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer and The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder.

Although they are at different places in their relationships — Anna and Stephen are married with kids and Nina and Ian aren’t even engaged yet — they are still very similar.

First of all, there’s the age gap. Anna is 30 to Stephen’s 42 and Nina is a mere 23 to Ian’s 33! Both have at least a decade between them, but they didn’t let a generation gap stop true love.

Anna and Nina are also both Canadian! Although their childhood stories are a bit different — Anna was born in Canada and moved to New Zealand at 4 whereas Nina was born in in Bulgaria and moved to Canada at 2 — they are both classified as Canadian actresses.

Their most notable similarity is in their love lives, of course. Both Anna’s Sookie Stackhouse and Nina’s Elena Gilbert fell in love with vampires on-screen, and then it followed them into their real lives, too!

One of the most adorable parts of the supernatural couples’ relationships is their PDA. We frequently see both pairs out and about, holding hands and looking blissfully in love.
