True Blood's Kristin Bauer van Straten Admits Her Style Is Nothing Like Pam’s

When it comes to vampire fashion icons, True Blood’s Pam is our go-to gal.

It doesn’t matter if she’s wearing a beat-up yellow sweat suit or a gorgeous, tight black leather dress — she always looks amazing.

But surprisingly, portrayer Kristin Bauer van Straten admits that her style is nothing like her vampire counterpart!

“My personal style is really comfy: flats, tennis shoes, ponytails, no makeup,” Kristin told Stylelist at the launch of HSN’s True Blood makeup collection.

However, the star added that has changed over the past five years of playing the fashion-forward vamp.

“Pam is seeping in,” Kristin said. “Now I take more time to think of how I look. I was at Starbucks recently where a fan recognized me and I thought, 'What am I wearing?’ I immediately went out and bought comfy clothes that are much cuter.”

And although that doesn’t mean she’s in corsets and leather while buying her groceries, she appreciates Pam’s influence on her everyday looks.

“You can’t help it; it’s like having a big sister that’s really into fashion!”
