While True Blood’s Jason Stackhouse barely knows what’s going on in front of him most of the time, his portrayer, Ryan Kwanten, always makes sure he can see clearly.

Although it’s rare to spot the Aussie in glasses on the red carpet, once in awhile he surprises us with a pair of thick-rimmed black frames, rocking a geek chic look — and making us swoon!

Maybe we’re just suckers for four-eyed hotties, but there’s something about the smart, sexy look that makes him even more appealing.

At the G-Star Rodeo Drive Store Opening on Dec. 6, 2011, Ryan kept things sleek and casual with a black cardigan and dark-washed jeans, his hair a bit messy and a bit of stubble.

The following summer, at the Summit Entertainment Comic-Con Party on July 21, 2011, Ryan rocked glasses again, this time wearing a fun, nerdy t-shirt, a black jacket, and a goofy grin.
