True Blood's Stephen Moyer Joins Reese Witherspoon's Upcoming Film, Devil's Knot

Though it’s Bill Compton’s job to help The Authority, it seems that True Blood actor Stephen Moyer will be playing to another kind of authority in his latest role.

Stephen has been cast as prosecutor John Fogleman in the upcoming film Devil’s Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three.

The film, which also stars Colin Firth and Reese Witherspoon, is based on the true story of three teens who were jailed for a triple homicide without any evidence connecting them to the crime.

The True Blood actor will play the prosecutor who attempted to sentence the three teens to death. In real life, the teens were released last year after eight years in jail.
