True Blood  fans can’t help but dream of the show’s stars, just like Sam after he drank Bill’s blood. For some, it’s one fangtastic night with Eric Northman, while others would rather chow down at Merlotte’s with Sookie Stackhouse — but we all understand that Bon Temps isn’t real, right?

Not so fast, Truebies!

Although Bon Temps isn’t technically a real town, the Los Angeles set is alive and well, and the Hetrick-Martin Institute is making one lucky fan’s dreams come true.

In honor of their 2012 Emery Awards Benefit, the institute is auctioning off amazing prizes — including a walk-on role on True Blood!

The benefit takes place on Oct. 29, 2012 at Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City, including a cocktail reception before the dinner and awards ceremony. Partners star Michael Urie is hosting the event, and the benefit also celebrates Dustin Lance Black from the Bully documentary.

More information on the gala can be found here, although tickets start at $600, so plan accordingly. In order to bid at the auction, you must purchase a ticket.

Start pinching those pennies, Truebies — being in the presence of
Alexander Skarsgard would totally be worth it!
