In Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You, vulnerable teenager James Sveck (Toby Regbo, aka young Albus Dumbledore) is forced to go into therapy. However, as troubling as his life is, we learn the stories of his crazy family as much as we learn about his problems.

Among the all-star cast is True Blood’s resident babyvamp, Deborah Ann Woll! She plays James’s wild child, eclectic 23-year-old sister whose life is so strange that she’s already writing a memoir.

In the trailer below, we see her snapping photos of herself on a webcam, sporting a bedazzled face as she envisions the cover of her memoir.

The film also stars Parks and Rec’s Aubrey Plaza, The O.C.’s Peter Gallagher, Marcia Gay Harden, Ellen Burstyn, Lucy Liu, and many more great actors!

Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You is in limited release (theaters in NY and LA) and video on demand starting Oct. 5!
