Which True Blood Werewolf Is Headed to Beauty and the Beast?

A True Blood werewolf is barking up a new tree in The CW’s new fall show Beauty and the Beast.

Kelly Overton — whose character, Rikki, recently had an acrobatic sex scene with Alcide — will guest-star on one episode as Claire, "an intelligent and extremely athletic doctoral student who hits it off with medical examiner Evan (Max Brown) after they meet online,” TV Guide reports.

Based loosely on the Linda Hamilton-fronted 1987 CBS drama rather than the animated Disney film, the series stars Smallville alum Kristin Kreuk and Australian actor Jay Ryan. The new version swaps out a District Attorney assistant for a cop, and we bet the beastly special effects will be much improved from the ‘80s show.
