Will True Blood Season 5 Premiere on June 24, 2012?

It feels like forever since True Blood has been on the air, and we still have a few more months to go (sigh).

But there's a light at the end of the tunnel: True Blood Season 5 may premiere on June 24, 2012!

TVNewser reports that our favorite vampire soap may return on that date, and precede the debut of Aaron Sorkin's new series, The Newsroom.

HBO hasn't confirmed the date, but it seems a likely one, considering when previous seasons of True Blood have premiered.

We've circled June 24 on our calendars. Now, if only we could speed up time ...
