Bon Temps isn't the only place with an unruly vampire population, it would seem.

In what can only be described as a disturbing and bizarre case of life imitating art, a St. Petersburg, Fla.  woman, who believes she is a real-life bloodsucker, was arrested late last night after allegedly biting a homeless, wheelchair-bound senior citizen outside a vacant Hooters restaurant.

The victim, 69-year-old Milton Ellis, survived the attack, but was hospitalized for wounds to his face, neck, and lips.

According to the New York Post, Ellis met his attacker, 22-year-old Josephine Rebecca Smith, at a gas station and then invited her back to the porch of the vacant Hooters where he was staying.

"After he fell asleep on the ground, he claims that she attacked him, started yelling that she was a vampire, that she was going to eat him and started biting him by his face and body," said Mike Puetz of the St. Petersburg Police Department.

Bloody and battered, Ellis somehow managed to return to his wheelchair and make his way back to the gas station, where he called for help. The police found the alleged vampire on the Hooters porch, half naked and covered in Ellis' blood.

Something tells us Nan Flanagan will not be too happy about this …
