Debbie Pelt is a werewolf and Alcide's ex-girlfriend who later gets engaged to Coot. She becomes a member of Coot's pack in a bizarre initiation ceremony and she and Coot feed off Bill Compton's blood after Bill is tortured by Lorena. When Sookie, Tara and Alcide free Bill, Debbie reappears and threatens to kill Sookie. After Russell orders Debbie to lead a werewolf attack on Sookie's house, Bill and Jessica fight off the werewolves while Debbie personally confronts Sookie and the two become entangled in a violent and brutal fight.
