In an interview with All Things Girl, star Carrie Preston spilled about the major differences between her and her character, Arlene Fowler — mostly involving her looks.

“I definitely get to transform in this [role], what with the red hair, the fake tan, fake nails, caked makeup, enhanced bustline, high heels, and tight clothes,” she spilled.

In fact, she added that she likes to get to set early so she can get to hair and makeup first, claiming it “can take a while with me because there’s so much to be done.”
