Terry is a member of the once prestigious Bellefleur family and cousin to Detective Andy Bellefleur. He is an Iraq war veteran who suffers from post traumatic stress disorder, previously having spent some time in a VA hospital. He currently works as a cook at Merlotte’s with waitress girlfriend Arlene. He is an outdoorsman at heart – he is most comfortable when he is hunting.
Sookie Stackhouse is one of the few people who Terry is comfortable around. His reserved nature doesn’t scare Sookie, and Terry thinks she is a good woman.
