Before ABC Family took the twisted road of reality TV, it used to be our one-stop shop for all things reruns. One of our favorite classic shows? Full House. (No offense, Boy Meets World. You’re great, too.)
For those less fortunate members of the audience who have yet to meet the Tanners, the series chronicles the day-to-day challenges of a single dad (Bob Saget) raising his three daughters with the help of his comedian best friend Joey (Dave Coulier) and hawt rock musician brother-in-law Jesse (John Stamos).
During its eight seasons and 192 episodes, Full House beamed many life-changing things into our living rooms: neon colored clothing, teased hair, the Olsen twins (who, all grown-up now, would never be seen dead with either of the former).
We’d already heard a sitcom reunion was in the works thanks to the Super Bowl but clearly the gang couldn’t wait until Sunday. The menfolk stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to calm the TV host’s fears about moving on to The Tonight Show on NBC. We get a terrific '80s sweater, a Jesse-Joey head slap, and even a Jesse and The Rippers mention.
Watch the video below for a quick reminder of all the reasons to still love Full House. As for us, we’ll be binge-watching it before the cast’s national commercial this weekend.
