Back in 1998, our TV-watching lives changed forever when the final episode of the hit family sitcom Family Matters aired. After nine long seasons of unrelenting, unconditional love and friendship, Laura Winslow and Steven Q. Urkel ended the show in each other’s arms, engaged to be married. Since then, fans have seen quite a bit of actor Jaleel White, who played the annoying nerd. But whatever happened to Kellie Shanygne Williams, who portrayed the calm, cool, and collected cheerleader?

Well, guys, Laura’s all grown up, as we expected. And while this gal has had a couple small roles on television shows like Moesha and Eve, she’s been living the life with her husband, Hannibal Jackson — yes, she’s Kellie Jackson now! — and their two adorable children, 4-year-old Hannah and young son John Ervin.

The Washington D.C. native has kept herself active by working behind the cameras co-producing the 2010 movie,
Blessed and Cursed, as well as becoming a public speaker. She’s also heavily involved in charitable work, receiving several honors for her commitment and work in her community. Looks like life imitated art in that respect, as Laura always was a bit of a goody-two shoes!

Aside from that, Kellie appears to be happy being a devoted wife and mother to her family, splitting her time between L.A. and Maryland (where her family resides). And from the looks of her Facebook photos, she and her little unit are doing just fine.
