Even though she was his sister on-screen, it seems even The Cosby Show alum Malcolm-Jamal Warner isn't immune to the charms of Lisa Bonet! The pair played siblings Theo and Denise Huxtable on the wildly influential Bill Cosby-led sitcom, but hey — they aren't siblings IRL.

"Early on, it was Lisa," Malcolm-Jamal tells Access Hollywood of his being smitten with his co-star. "Just because we were so close in age."

While we swooned over Theo's killer smile back in the day, as it turns out, Malcolm-Jamal's off-screen game wasn't quite up to par yet. "I never had a shot," he admits, laughing. "At 13, 14, you know when you have a shot or not — even at that age."

Despite his potentially super awkward crush, Malcolm-Jamal says he and Lisa "have been very cool" since the show's run. "I'm very cool with everybody because we all bonded in this unique experience," he gushes. "No matter how much time goes by, we'll always have that bond."

Sister or not, that's a pretty adorable story! Things seem to have worked out for the both of them, besides — after about six years of marriage to rocker Lenny Kravitz, Lisa Bonet moved on to Game of Thrones hottie Jason Momoa, with whom she's still going strong. Malcolm-Jamal has stayed pretty cagey about his love life over the years, but we still see him all over our small screens! Most recently, he has an ongoing guest gig as Lt. Chuck Cooper on Major Crimes, but we're partial to his run as Andre Bennett on Community.
