Freaks and Geeks: Where Are They Now?
Many of us arrived late to the Freaks and Geeks game — NBC cancelled the coming-of-age show in 2000 after only one 18-episode season. Old fans and newcomers alike, though, quickly got hooked on its wry blend of comedy and drama, and its endearing near-caricature of American adolescence. We will never fully understand why it flopped in the ratings at first, but it grew from a slow start to the beloved cult favorite it is today.
We can’t bring the Judd Apatow series back from the dead, but we’ve got the next best thing. Here’s what all the main cast members have been up to in the 12 years since the finale! The Freaks got a bigger running start than the Geeks — everyone and their mom knows who James Franco and Seth Rogen are — but everyone's been hard at work, doing some amazing projects on and off-screen.
