Catfish host Nev Schulman didn't get a wink of sleep last night because he was "too excited" for tonight's all-new episode, which features a woman who thinks she's in a relationship with Bow Wow. Yeah, the famous rapper and host of BET's 106 and Park. That guy.
We know what you're thinking, and yeah, it does seems pretty ridiculous. In fact, Nev and Max can hardly contain their laughter when they read Keyonnah's email — but just hear us out. This story actually seems pretty legit.
It all started when Keyonnah messaged "Bow Wow" on Facebook to compliment his music. She didn't expect a reply, so you can imagine how surprised she was when he wrote back.
"It's always nice to hear from fans, especially one as pretty as you," the message reads. "Shoot me your phone number, k?"
Obviously, Keyonnah sent along her digits and it wasn't long before the two were texting on a daily basis. Although she's trying to keep her feelings under control, things are becoming more and more serious. In fact, they even talk about their daughters and how they can all become a happy family one day.
"I can't help but smile thinking about Bow Wow actually liking me," she admits.
The only drawback? They haven't been able to meet due to his filming schedule and every time they start to video chat his connection craps out.
So what keeps Keyonnah coming back for more? She truly believes this guy is Bow Wow, especially because he loaned her $10,000 and didn't ask for a penny back! Not many people have that kind of cash just sitting around, right?
Nev assess the situation noting that "some very wealthy man is either impersonating Bow Wow or it is Bow Wow, which is even crazier."
Nev and Max are obviously up for the challenge so they head to North Carolina to meet Keyonnah, who shines more light on this strange Internet romance. They don't have much to go off of, but they're determined to help her find the truth.
Oh, and if you think you've got it figured out, you don't. "You think you know, but you have no idea," Nev last night tweeted. Color us intrigued!
Don't miss this episode of Catfish airing tonight, Tuesday, October 8 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
