Relax, people. Not every family-friendly '90s TV sitcom can break into the 21st century with a spin-off show. Full House is not pulling a Boy Meets World, despite multiple reports to the contrary today.

As Uproxx notes, Perez Hilton, BroadwayWorld.com, The Inquisitr, and even Yahoo! all rabidly reported that Full House's creator, Jeff Franklin, was developing a new version of the show featuring adult versions of D.J. and Stephanie Tanner. All four of those sites linked to a story from a site called Disney Treasures that quotes an interview by Jeff appearing in "Newport Gazette."

However, clicking the link to "Newport Gazette" — a publication which, incidentally, doesn't even seem to exist — reveals an April Fool's image.

It seems like sort of a cheap ploy for Disney Treasures to get traffic, though, since the post has a timestamp of October 27 — nowhere near April 1.

"Last month I was asked by ABC and [Warner Bros.] to write a new show for the Full House characters," Disney Treasures phonily claims Jeff said. "Everyone I’ve spoken with were very open to the idea [of returning]."

Yahoo!, at least, seems to have pulled their post down. The other sites are still trumpeting the bogus news.

As Michelle Tanner would say, "Oh, puh-lease!"

Hypothetically speaking, would you watch a Full House reboot? Let us know below!
