Jimmy Fallon did a smart thing last night: To christen his role as host of The Tonight Show, arguably the biggest late night show in history, he recruited the hottest names in the entertainment industry to help him out. So of course his first guest was the biggest movie star on the planet, Mr. Will Smith.

And while Will did sit in Jimmy’s armchair for an interview later in the premiere ep, he first joined him in reprising his Fresh Prince role … in a way. The actor-rapper and the former SNL star came out in overalls and patterned shirt ensembles, pulled straight from Will’s years on the ‘90s sitcom. And from there, the duo performed one of Jimmy’s favorite skits: "The Evolution of Dancing."

But this time around they put a little spin on it, busting out every move from the running man to “The Dougie” for a history of hip hop dancing! How apropos for Big Willie. And it wouldn’t be a dance montage if they didn’t throw in “The Carlton” for good measure.

Besides Jimmy attempting to twerk — not an image we’ll be getting out of our heads for a while — the most surprising part of the hilarious montage is probably that the late night host sort of killed it. So much so, that he stole the show from the usually agile Will. Who knew Jimmy had it in him?
