MTV’s latest recipe for drama is taking things to the kitchen. Take Real World, mix in Bravo’s Top Chef, and add a dash of Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen for a kick of flavor, and you have MTV’s new series House of Food. And we have your first look at the reality competition series.

House of Food takes eight young aspiring chefs with no formal culinary training and throws them into the ultimate challenge — competing to win an apprenticeship with the best chef in Los Angeles. But if you think cooking is going to be their only challenge, think again. This group is also living together, and from the looks of things in the trailer, they know how to have a good time. From house hookups to stripper poles, these passionate foodies have a taste for drama. However, if they want to win, they better leave the drama — and the tears — out of the kitchen.

MTV is hoping their latest creation is a hit. Judging from the drama-infused trailer, House of Food looks like a winner. Watch the trailer below and tell us what you think in the comments!

Catch the premiere of House of Food on Monday, March 31 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
