We’re not one for superlatives — they’re so high school — but MTV’s new show Faking It is going to be your new favorite show. It’s funny, original, and stars British hottie Gregg Sulkin. Seriously. What’s not to love?

Faking It follows outcasts and besties Karma (Katie Stevens) and Amy (Rita Volk) as they find themselves thrust into popularity after the school’s golden gay boy Shane (Michael Willett) accidentally outs them to the student body. There’s only one problem: Karma and Amy aren’t gay. However, in order to retain their newfound popularity — and win the titles of Prom Queen and Prom Queen — they have to go along with the faux lesbian charade. And things get even more awkward when Shane’s straight best friend Liam (Gregg Sulkin) starts crushing on Karma. This is one complicated ménage à trois.
