Prince Harry, the newly single Prince Harry, landed on American soil last week and somehow we didn’t burst into a million pink hearts of adoration. (If only we had enough frequent flyer miles to get ourselves to Florida…) Somehow, though, Harry was also spotted 1,000 miles north of Miami in Memphis at the same time.
How was this possible? Does Harry have super powers? Is the British prince a wizard? A wizard named Harry?
Despite the wild whirlings of our imaginations, hocus pocus isn’t afoot unless you consider Harry’s doppelganger Matt Hicks a little piece of magic (which we do, we really do). The Prince Harry impersonator and star of upcoming reality must-watch I Wanna Marry "Harry" found himself in Memphis and promptly began fooling the locals.
“You’re shaking,” he tells one hysterical fangirl as she poses for a photo. It’s a normal day in the life of the British cutie, who does bare a striking resemblance to the royal. “Everytime I go somewhere and I get recognized, I’m still shocked by it,” he tells cameras.
Matt confesses he finds the whole experience rather “odd,” which strikes us as a bit of an understatement after seeing the frenzy his mere presence in Memphis caused. See for yourself in the video above! And be sure to check out the promo for I Wanna Marry "Harry”. It’s like Memphis but with more hysterical shaking.
