Man v. Food Star Adam Richman Posts Obscene Rant — Travel Channel Yanks His New Show (VIDEO)

We all enjoyed Man v. Food, but we're not really enjoying Man v. Instagram Users. Veteran TV host Adam Richman went on the offensive against a fellow Instagram user — with an emphasis on the offensive — and now his new Travel Channel show is in jeopardy.

The whole mess started when the 40-year-old showed off his recent weight loss on Instagram, using the hashtag "#thinspiration."

However, as xoJane blogger Amber Sarah explains, that hashtag is often used to promote eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia.

Amber says her friend tried to politely inform Adam of the loaded nature of the hashtag and that Adam responded to say "DILLIGAF?" as in, "Do I look like I give a f—k"? That's when Amber called out Adam herself.

In screenshots Amber shares, Adam appears to explode in hateful comments toward Amber and at least two other Instagram users — saying things like, "If anyone acts like a c—t, I'll call them one," and "Grab a razor blade and draw a bath," and "Eat a bag of s—t, dummy."

Now, as The Washington Post reports, Travel Channel is pulling Adam's new show Man Finds Food — which was supposed to premiere tonight, July 2 — with no new premiere date specified.

"Travel Channel is postponing the July 2 series premiere of Man Finds Food," a spokesperson states.

There's also no trace of the show on the Travel Channel website.

Meanwhile, NBC hasn't commented on the fate of Food Fighters, an upcoming cooking competition that Adam hosts. It's scheduled to premiere on July 22.

For his part, Adam released an apology via Good Morning America: "I've long struggled with my body image and have worked very hard to achieve a healthy weight. I’m incredibly sorry to everyone I've hurt."

Should Adam be forgiven? Or should he be kept off TV? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
