Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis’s Twitter Hacked During Filming!

Ay Dios mio, Juan Pablo Galavis's The Bachelor Season 18 is already taking us to Funkytown. The new season premieres in January, but filming just started last week and now the crew is on the move. The Bachelor producers tweeted a couple of early filming notes, and JP hinted that maybe he too could sneak away and tweet when not busy sucking face and dropping roses.

Then things started getting beyond-the-usual weird on JP’s Twitter. On September 23, the account tweeted, "Don't forget to sign out of your account when you use my phone, JuanPa! #peterjscalettar @peterjscalettar." That definitely did not sound like JP, and not just because it was directed to his name. There were no RANDOM CAPS tweets or Spanish phrases with English translations.

But the next tweet sounded more like JP, even if it wasn’t from him: "This is the JuanPa TAKEOVER! / esta es el TAKEOVER de JuanPa @peterjscalettar #beetsaladbar." That was followed by "Follow mucho BEARDOS @theyearofelan y @peterjscalettar" and "I'm eating CARBS! Are you? Jajajajajaja @peterjscalettar #JuanPaTakeover" and "Hotdog!!" #JuanPaTakeover @Millsy11374."

What in the what is going on? It looks like Bachelor producer Peter Scalettar took over JPG's account with GUSTO. You may remember Peter as the guy who married fellow producer Cassie Lambert last year, and they recently welcomed a baby. In his tweets, Peter referenced another producer, Elan Gale (aka mucho BEARDOS) and ABC exec Robert "Millsy" Mills.

Hmm, it seems like they have some extra time on their hands. At least this suggests Juan Pabs is too busy focusing on his bachelorettes to share updates on his food choices, which is probably for the best. Quick question, though: Why was he using a phone to do anything? The Bachelor contestants usually don’t hang out on the phone, since producers want them to be fully focused on the ladies in front of them. Perhaps he was calling his daughter Camila to tell her about her future step-mom?

But JP’s unique tweeting style is pretty fun to spoof, so we’ll stay tuned for more updates from the “Takeover.”
