Demi Lovato Loses “The Game” — What Does She Mean?
When it comes to Demi Lovato, we’re admittedly a tad overprotective. We’ve loved the 21-year-old pop star since she rocked the kiddie pool back on Barney (in the company of bestie Selena Gomez, of course). In the years since her water wingie days, Dems has proven what a mega-talent she is, whether its performing on stages around the world or giving back through her role as an X Factorjudge/mentor.
But even angels have their demons. Dems checked into rehab in 2010 to address issues of bulimia, self-harm, and addiction. She was also diagnosed as bipolar, an ongoing condition she continues to face. Staying sober would be a difficult task for anyone but when you live in the Hollywood fast lane, we can only imagine the kind of daily temptations thrust your way.
And so Demi’s latest tweet sounds like it could be cause for concern: “Wow... It’s been so long.. Like months.. And I JUST lost the game......,” she messaged November 4.
What could Dems possibly mean? Well, never fear, fellow worrywarts. Turns out Demi is just pulling a trick on us. Back in March 2012, she asked her followers to make #ijustlostthegame a trending topic on Twitter. Fans recently requested Demi bring the hashtag back and so voilà we’re back in the game.
