Bachelor Nation Reacts to Chris Soules as Bachelor 2015

It’s official boys and girls — ABC has announced that Chris Soules will be the next man to grace our TV screens, and our hearts, when The Bachelor Season 19 starts airing in January 2015. Can we get a yee haw! (Because, Iowa.)

Though there was talk of competition for the title role in the forms of Arie Luyendyk, Jr. and Marquel Martin, no one is really surprised the roses landed in Chris’s lap. The 32-year-old has got it going on in pretty much every way: He’s handsome, he’s well dressed, he’s sweet and sincere, he’s a gentleman, he’s successful, and did we mention, he’s hot as a cornfield in August. (We’re really gonna have to brush up on our farm puns.)

So while the news that Chris was crowned King Rose Giver isn’t all that surprising, Bachelor Nation did take to Twitter to celebrate the announcement, with many of Chris’s bros from Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette congratulating him on his new gig. Andi herself tweeted some congrats, and Juan Pablo Galavis, perhaps the most controversial Bachelor in the franchise’s history, tweeted some advice for the gentleman farmer.

Also, ladies take note — producer Robert Mills tweeted that there’s still time to audition to be on Chris’s season!
