Sounds like Ultimate Survival Alaska star Tyler Johnson is living up to his show's title! The rugged outdoorsman is a fugitive on the loose, even after a brutal car crash, according to TMZ.
According to the site, police in Anchorage, Alaska, say that Tyler allegedly stole a car two weeks ago while intoxicated — but that's just the start of the story. Keep reading — it sounds like an action movie.
Per TMZ, Tyler lost control of the stolen car and was ejected from and pinned underneath the vehicle, as he wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
He then recovered at the hospital — and, inexplicably, was released before the police could arrest him.
Now he's running from charges of DUI and felony vehicle theft.
Tyler starred in the two seasons so far of Ultimate Survival Alaska, competing in races through the Alaskan wilderness.
He also has quite the social media presence — with profiles on Facebook, Instagram, and Google+ — but he hasn't posted anything since July, as you might expect.
If he's such a survivalist, even in conditions as harsh as Alaska's, the police might have a hard time tracking him down!
