Under the Dome Spoilers: When Will Angie Be Free? What Happens “By Episode 11″?

Under the Dome has turned into a little summer hit for CBS. The series is based on Stephen King's novel, but different enough that readers have no idea what might happen next. (Sometimes that's exciting; other times it’s irritating.) King gave his blessing to the changes, which will include a new origin for the dome itself.

A couple of episodes have come and gone, and we're curious about what happens next. For example, what's going to happen to Angie, who was kidnapped and trapped by the psychotic Junior? This is not something you can figure out from reading the book, and TVLine said she won't be free anytime soon. They said episodic photos for July 15 show Angie "very much still in captivity."

But maybe she'll be free after that? Actress Britt Robertson told TV Guide of the fallout shelter, "That's the battle I'll face for a good four episodes." Episode 4, called "Outbreak," airs July 15. So ... that sounds good for Angie!

Britt also talked to TV Guide about upcoming challenges for the trapped citizens of Chester's Mill. "The water starts to be toxic. Where are they going to get water? People are getting hungry and they want to eat. There's no way to get food unless they steal from the shops because money isn't really worth anything. Are the farmers going to let anyone eat? It's all really basic things that you really don't think about until they become a threat to your society. It's really crazy what people will do when their basic survival needs are taking from them."

TVLine got more "crazy" talk from Mike Vogel (Dale "Barbie" Barbara). “By Episode 11 it starts getting deep," he said. "It’s a town in turmoil. The dome is a device; it’s a fishbowl. You put a bunch of fish in the bowl and you start banging on the glass to see how they react, you’re going to have fish that eat other fish, you’re going to have fish that protect those about to eaten, and while all this is happening, there’s a whole world on the outside. Barbie thinks he’s off the hook on some things, and then another can of worms gets opened up. They’ve done a great job putting the pedal down and driving it all the way through the end of the season. Each of these last few episodes that we have just get crazier and crazier.”

It does seem like things will just escalate for the 13-episode run. And who knows, maybe there will be a Season 2? Under the Dome airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
