Move over, Rachel Zoe! There’s a new style expert coming to a TV near you. Fashion maven Daisy Lewellyn joins the cast of Blood, Sweat, and Heels, Bravo’s newest reality show that is sure to become an instant hit. We’ll get to see Daisy takeover New York City as she juggles her career, love life, and all the drama that comes in between!
Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Daisy at the Blood, Sweat, and Heels premiere party on December 10, where she talked Housewives, dating, and which celebrity she’s dying to makeover!
Wetpaint Entertainment: So you actually used to work with Wetpaint interviewing Housewives! Which Housewife is your favorite?
Daisy Lewellyn: My favorite Housewife is Lisa Vanderpump! If I could have dinner with anyone, of course it would be Oprah, Michelle Obama and Lisa Vanderpump. Lisa’s so elegant, but it’s so genuine! I just feel like she really is naturally glamorous and she’s a hard worker. Any girl that’s glamorous, is a hard worker, has a husband, has kids and works hard, I’m all about that.
Speaking of glamour and working hard, what aspect of you will get to see most about you in the show?
You see everything! You see more than my parents have even seen, OK, let me tell you. You definitely see my career, behind the scenes, in front of scenes. I am in front of the camera as a style expert, but I’m also behind the scenes writing scripts, working on marketing and editing. You’ll also my love life, or maybe lack thereof. As a single girl in New York City, it’s a struggle to juggle life, boys and bags and babies.
So you live bicoastal between NYC and L.A. Have your dating experiences been different in each city?
Oh, absolutely. In L.A. I had no dating life, I didn’t even know that people dated in L.A.! In New York I have a huge dating life but I still don’t have a boyfriend.
Since you’re a style expert, we have to ask: If you could make over any hot mess celebrity, who would it be?
I think she’s so sweet, sharp, and brilliant, but I would love to makeover Whoopi Goldberg. She’s so funny and so witty, but I would love to just really polish her in her own style. I know she’s really comfortable with her style, you never want to take someone out of what they want to be. I’m about helping real women and helping them bring out their inner celebrity.
Blood, Sweat, and Heels premieres January 5, 3014 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Will you tune in?
